“There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.” This is a line from a Leonard Cohen song, Anthem. As an 82-year-old, who has experienced many setbacks in her life, the words of this song have great meaning for me. So many problems that I faced, created challenges through which I saw the light. I created the dark background and then took a deep breath and cut through it so that I could create a crack for the light.
