I belong to a fiber art group called High Fiber Diet. Our theme for 2019 was purple and titled "No Shrinking Violets." When I heard the theme, my mind immediately went to the old poem, Purple Cow.:

I never saw a Purple Cow,
I never hope to see one.
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.

Hand-dyed fabrics are collaged and fused and machine stitched.
