I’m hoping to have this title as a recurring theme! I want this blog thing to keep me in the studio making things to share with my daughters and who ever else happens by. Today The Pointless Sisters had their regularly scheduled meeting. They surprised me with a gift certificate to one of my favorite fabric stores – Fabrications in Healdsburg. Then at the end of the meeting I was presented with this Love Pillow with beautiful messages written by my artsy friends.

I was able to find time this afternoon to make this little quiltlet that is going to a special person. I can’t say who yet because he/she might be checking in here. This is made from antique Kimono fabrics and dupioni silk. It is 8.5 X 11 inches.
