Stash (Second Tuesday at Somebody’s House) took the train to Seattle on Friday to attend the APNQ Quiltfest at the Seattle Center. Here Terry and Gale in the back and Beth and Terri in the front settled in for the trip. Terry Grant is already at work on a mola! We later moved to another spot where we could sit facing each other and enjoyed wine and snacks.

The train arrived an hour late so we went out for dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant and I got this photo of the Space Needle at night on the way back to the hotel:

I only got a glimpse of all that Seattle has to offer and I really want to go back so I think Mr C and I will spend our anniversary there next month.
The quilt show was pretty good. I will say that I did not get my socks knocked off by the contemporary quilts. Overall, I think the quality of the traditional quilts was much better.We ran into these fellow bloggers, Nikki and Melissa:
