After a week of M & M. it is very quiet around here. We took them to the airport today and tonight they are sound asleep in their own beds. After I got home from the airport, I got an urgent call from the church office that the newsletter was printing with odd fonts and bad photos. Oh oh – can’t have that. The problem is, I create the file at home on my apple then I take it in on a cd and open it on a pc and do the final edits and prepare it for printing on the magical Toshiba copier/printer. It prints on ledger, folds and staples from the computer so that the photos print quite well. Anyway, I fiddled with it and checked my links and decided to make a pdf and print – did the trick – it looks great. But I was at the office until 7 helping because of the delay.
Here are pics of Miles and Mia and their fused quiltlets. These were made with Mrs. Mel’s scraps which are prefused and many are cut into neat shapes or already fused into flowers and such. So this was just great fun for M & M.
Notice the bench with wheels in the lower right corner!
Mrs. Mel, Mia just loved your flowers!!
OK, now I have to get ready to run a guild business meeting tomorrow.
What wonderful memories you are making for your grandchildren! (I’ll bet you did this with your children too, and look how creative they are!) Love these precious pictures. Jen
