I too like the red. I think it’s small enough that rest of the portrait balances it out, and it gives the whole thing a zing of surprise!

I like the idea of red, but indeed, the cheek is too much. How about a tiny crescent shaped highlight on one of the beads? Or not… it’s wonderful either way.
Glad the giant zit is OUT – I LOVE LOVE LOVE the B&W version. I think Pokey is going to be overwhelmed with self portraits, just like happened with the dolls and ATCs!
Yeh! Giant zit. The red cheek will not happen. I’m going to stay with the all black and white!

Honestly? To my eye, the picture becomes about that red circle, not about the woman’s face. I liked it better all b&w. But that’s just me…
