Sometimes, I feel so blessed to have old and new friends stopping by my blog to comment, share and give me advice.
I forgot to mention what a chuckle I got out of the traffic light comments about the piece I cut up last week. Now I am wondering if anyone in the crit group saw traffic lights. I have looked at that so many times and never saw a traffic light and now it is haunting me!!
Also, thanks to the new readers who have found me and have made such lovely comments about my work. It means a lot to hear from you.
Thank you for the good wishes to get better this week-end. I think I had a 24 hour virus with swollen glands and general malaise. I began to feel better yesterday afternoon. Mr C took me out to dinner, and I had a miraculous recovery.
Tonight, I made dinner for the family. Here is what is left of the lasagna.
A couple of weeks ago, Steph, Mia and I had a conversation about fondue. Mia thought chocolate fondue sounded pretty good, so tonight, I thought I would surprise her.
We dunked angel food cake, strawberries, kiwi, bananas and marshmallows.
I think Mia really enjoyed it.
Miles preferred marshmallows toasted on an open fire.
I really love our Sunday night family suppers.
Okay, I have to admit I saw traffic lights the first time you showed us that piece at STASH!
Everything looks delicious! Lasagna and chocolate fondue, does it get any better?
I’m so glad you will be a PIF player. Making a little something for you will definitely be fun. Email me with your snail mail address when you get a chance. Thanks! Jen
I am laughing out loud! I bit my tongue at our critique because the first thought I had was that that one section looked just like a traffic light! I knew if I said so that June and Mary would then also see it as a traffic light and that would not have been useful! That was the main reason I suggested turning it to a horizontal orientation.
Yum. The chocolate fondue looks like it met with Mia’s approval!
Hey, where’s the lasagna? (It blends with the dish)
Glad you are better.
Sounds like fun!
Glad you’re feeling better.

I see that you are seriously researching for the Twelve by Twelve chocolate challenge.
I did hesitate before mentioning the words traffic light. IF it’s any consolation, my husband thought my dandelion shibori looked like an amoeba!
