No? Well I’m gonna tell you anyway!!
I walked 11,300 steps – yee ha!!
I planted an herb garden.
I finished re-installing and updating software on my computer.
I finished the initial quilting on the worship quilt.
Are you tired of this yet?
By the way, who are you?
Tonight I cut crosses from fused silk in different sizes and colors. I have a lot more to cut. Why don’t you come over and help me???
Ta…
Ha Ha “some gay org. will steal it”!!! Love it. It is even more beautiful with the crosses. As a long-time satin stitcher I bow in reverence at your goal 🙂
Hey, keep it coming! The liturgical quilt is beautiful and I’ve enjoyed watching it come to life. You are truly an amazing woman/quilter/artist!
And I might even consider coming over to help if only I lived in Portland…dream on. It’s along way from NJ to OR…
Be right over….as soon as I crawl behind the couch and retrieve my pedometer (a talking one, no less).
Herb garden?? Mine consists of a pot full of two types of basil where the bunnies can’t reach it. Don’t even ask about the beautiful ferns I planted……I hope the moth balls work.
The loom arrived today! Yipee. Now I just need to dye some warp and get Gretchen over to help me warp it (oh, first I should get a warping board…..).
teri…with too much to do and too many distractions!!
Hi Gerrie…it’s me, Judy. And NO, I’m NEVER tired of your works! They are all wonderful and I enjoy every word you write…so there!!!
My pedometer blues continue with all of the inadvertent resetting that I do! However, I have figured out that I can usually go back to the memory and find the steps that have been “reset”, if that makes sense! LOL This afternoon I rearranged my sewing room and reset the pedometer SEVEN times in the process! YIKES…what an idiot!!!
I love this particular quilted wallhanging of yours, mainly because it reminds me of about a year ago when you did the first one for your church in California. That was about the time I was introduced to you, and it’s been such a fun and interesting year for me, getting to “know” you!
What herbs did you plant? There’s nothin’ better than fresh herbs! This year I have only a small patch with oregano, rosemary, thyme and basil…oh, but I love my basil with tomatoes and mozzarella! YUMMMM
xo
wow that is really pretty, mom. you better watch out or some gay organization will steal it.
I have been visiting your blog for awhile now and love your quilting style.
I quilt a bit, as much as homeschooling my two tweenagers allows me, and I am in love with japanese fabrics.
This quilt is lovely, and no, I am not tired of it or viewing its progress pictorally.

Who am I…come visit and see.
Tired of it? You have got to be kidding. ‘It’ is fantastic, I’d like to copy it, or be inspired by the colour blend, but I’ll never get around to it, rest assured. Love the quilting, texture but not too much to distract from the colour. It’s great how a quilt can have both things going on.
Come help? Hmm, just let me find the private jet to borrow first.
Don’t comment much, but think your work is wonderful! I have never quilted but it is now on my life’s to do list! Thank you for all your wonderful posts.
the quilt looks beautiful….can’t wait to see it with the crosses on it and finished. love to read about your projects and see how they come out. a long time reader first time commeter.
11,000+ steps!! Yee-Ha! Herb garden! Yee-Ha!
That quilt! Super Yee-Ha!
Been reading your blog for quite some time but only left a comment one other time….sorry! I guess that’s rude. I don’t quilt but I love to see what you create. You’re also inspiring me to get walking!!
Hi Gerrie! Longtime reader delurking at your invitation.
I’ve been enjoying your blog for quite a while. This quilt is lovely!
You’re inspiring me to dig out a pedometer that’s around here somewhere and start moving. Good for you!
It’s coming along very nicely.
It looks so flat and square and beatiful. The silk is just amazing. Great job!
absolutely not tired of this I’ll come help but you get started its a long trip lol
I told the husband to gas up the car and then I re-read the post and I think I need a nap before we head on over. Start without me-I’ll get there as soon as possible. I’ll be the one holding the giant, economy-sized Aleve. The quilting is wonderful. It really suits the piece. The first thing I see every day when I open my eyes is Kimono Collage on the wall. It has so much going on in it every day is a new look. Lucky me!
Absolutely NOT tired of it! Makes me feel good every time I see it!
