I’ve been having a beading frenzy and the fish quilt is finished, but I have to wait until tomorrow to take pictures. In the mean time, I am celebrating some color in my day.
My container of sulky threads:
My new dishes that arrived today. We have had the others for 12 years. They were a little more sedate, but in a variety of colors ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù not Fiestaware ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù a little more modern design. Anyway, I found these on sale in the Chef’s catalog, and they arrived today. Don’t they just scream Gericon?
These bowls will hold mucho cereal or ice cream!
Yes, yes, the dishes are pretty — but the important questions are (1)what flavor of ice cream and (2)what time should I be there!
Those dishes are gorgeous!
love the dishes, girlfriend! I fantasize about having more than one set. We bought Heathware back in the day. Never buy solid stuff that lasts forever. Come to think of it, we do a lot of that. We also buy Volvos!!!
Enjoy that beautiful dishware.
I love your beautiful new dishes!
They are so you 🙂
For some reason I have a real weakness for dishes and have far more than I need (oh, and linens , colorful linens…)Jen
I absolutely love those dishes! I am such a “spiral” person, and the colors are beautiful.
The first photo of your threads is lovely just for the colors but I also like how organized you are.
Hey Gerrie,
Your thread box of Sulkies looks a lot like mine….except mine’s messy with threads hanging out and the top broken off.
Those bowls are wonderful!
When’s the housewarming?
