I finally got over my angst about the pink challenge quilt and started the quilting. I got a bug in my bonnet about what I wanted to do and then I just got cold feet. It is a bit of a departure from what I normally do. Here a couple of sneak peeks, above and below. Not a lot of pink to be seen, you say!!
I packed up the 12 Twelve X Twelve quilts and sent them on their way for their photo shoot. I felt like I was letting my children go. I don’t know when I will see them in person again. They will travel to places that I may never go.
Yesterday, Scooter got a shave and a haircut. We are letting his body hair grow for the winter. Here is a photo I took of him today. He looks so handsome.
Tomorrow, Terry and I are going to meet Del Thomas for coffee. She is in town to visit her Aunt who is in hospice care. Her aunt lives right in my neighborhood. I haven’t seen Del since the days when I used to go to Empty Spools at Asilomar.
“Departures” are always the first step in “adventures,” no?
Scooter looks faaabulous. And look at all those neat and tidy edges on your quilt — very architectural…
oh what a handsome Dude!!!
Barker is at the ‘beauty parlor’ today….with all of our recent rain, he was almost as dark as the Scoot!
