I awoke this morning without a fever and feeling pretty darn good. That is the good thing about having the crappy virus — how great you feel when it is gone.
Yesterday, I ventured out to buy a swivel, towel stand to display my scarves at the Artist’s Among Us show and sale at the cathedral this week-end. I finally found what I wanted at Linens and Things. I stopped at Trader Joe’s to stock up on some food, came home and collapsed, again.
This morning, Mr C and I took it down to the cathedral and set up my area for the show. Here are my scarves. I think they are quite lovely!
Here is my display. I didn’t have time to make new quilts so I am showing some of my older work. All of my new work is going in to other shows.
After finishing this set-up, we stopped at the paint store to pick out stain for the fence. I walked the dog a couple of times — short walks and did some clean up in the studio.
I received the first photos for the Virtual Iraq War Protest. You can see them here. For one of my photos, I added the sticker to my Eighth Deadly Sin Art Quilt.
So check out the photos in the virtual protest and send me yours. If you want to join in, just send me your snail mail address in the contact form above and I will send you a bumper sticker. then you can take some photos for our virtual protest.

So happy you’re back to your usual ebullient self, or some semblance thereof. Your scarves look marvelous; sorry I’ll be away for the show.
Glad you are feeling better! The scarves are lovely and the display is terrific, allowing each scarf full glory.
Clever girl — the towel stand shows off your scarves wonderfully. I hope thay all sell!
