Vintage Japanese Textile Scraps:
Beautiful Hand Dyes by Judy Bianchi & Carlene Keller
Wool felt for daughter Stephanie:
Domino jewelry with bird imagery – gee, I wonder who is getting this?
This photo is especially for Mrs. Mel to see. It was done by former student, Judy Bianchi, from dye painted fabric like the piece hanging next to it, which I now own. The background is dupioni silk. It is just a top – not quilted yet. I think it is stunning!
O How I love that quilt design! woowoo! Thanks for posting it, and what is all this days of virtue stuff? It sounds very intriguing and like I wanna play along. I need a cleaning out!
Everything’s just eye candy Gerrie! What a great time you must have had. Those Hand Dyes make me green with envy ;o)
I should make it clear that I don’t own the quilt top, just the fabric. Guess I can make my own!
if that necklace is for me, i will kiss you 1000 times. that looks like fun. maybe next year i will go with you and your friends.
what fun stuff. thank you so much for the felt…sure to become cool creatures.
Thanx for the eye candy- yum!
Ooooohhhhh. That dupioni quilt top is just GLOWY! Gorgeous.
